The Christian Church was the first church in this structure that is located on the corner of 4th and Morton. Dedication services were held for the Christian Church in March 1911. By the 1940s, it housed the Nazarene Church. From the 1968 Palacios Beacon: the church and parsonage were for sale at $5,750. It is now the Primera Iglesia Bautista.

The original church. Different denominations used this temple. First was First Christian Church, then Central Baptist Church, and then Nazarene Church, before it became our Old Baptist Church (First Baptist Church). How beautiful.
